Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflexes - characteristic sections that have a direct energy relationship with the internal organs - in the feet and hands. By applying pressure to those reflexes with specific thumb and hand techniques the body can be brought back into healthy balance.

Massage is the manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques, to enhance function, aid in the healing process, decrease muscle reflex activity, inhibit motor-neuron excitability, promote relaxation and well-being and as a recreational activity.
